Jonathan & Natashya

We moved from Auckland to Blenheim after finding our dream lifestyle while holidaying in the area. Blenheim has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and we fell in love with the people, views and what the region had to offer. We both come from a health service background and have previously run a successful accommodation business in the Marlborough area. In our previous businesses we prided ourselves in providing a warm, relaxed atmosphere for our guests. We are passionate about travel, having lived internationally and have visited several countries. Today you will find us and our family enjoying the gardens, spending time with our pets and admiring the views. Get in touch with us for any information you require and we hope to see you soon.

French Fields Sustainability

The team at French Fields believe sustainability to mean; caring for the land, expressing Manaakitanga to all guests, giving back to our community, respecting all people & cultures and minimizing our impact on our environment as much as possible. We embrace the Māori concept of Kaitiakitanga to protect, guard and preserve the environment.

While we continue our sustainability journey, we enjoy using locally sourced produce for our breakfasts and cheese platters, minimizing waste through recycling and composting and by utilising our fruit trees and lavender field efficiently to reduce waste.

Our suites are made to be as sustainable as possible, through the use of insulation, energy efficient lighting, minimising power usage, biodegradable bin liners and locally made toiletries.

To further reduce our carbon footprint, we will only replace towels and linen upon request. We encourage our guests to hang their towels to dry, so they can be reused during their stay.
